Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-bout fight which will be shown in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "overpower" the American as the combatants confronted each other to publicize next month's boxing match.
Ex twice unified title holder Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive disparity - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Boxer's Mindset
"I plan to damage his features and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to genuinely try to injure him. That's my goal."
Respectful Exchange
Despite those words, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - usually known for his showmanship - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul instead criticized former Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "not serious" after Ngannou declined a bout proposal.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at UK rival Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua said.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to speak negatively about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
However, the novice is still one of the sport's largest financial successes, consistently making substantial earnings.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old anticipated a stoppage in rounds four or five and claimed he would prevent the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly under discussion for 2026.
"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.
Size Disparity
As both boxers participated in the traditional stare-down, with their size difference on show, it emphasized just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is really proceeding.
